  • Subject areas: first aid, nursing, health support services, pharmacy support, health administration, individual support, ageing, disability, dementia, mental health, community services and OET preparation. Resources licensed to RTOs, TAFEs and universities nationally.
  • Leads validation, moderation and audit of health and aged care training products against the Standards for RTOs and the HLT and CHC training packages, and quality reviews clinical (OSCE and simulation) assessment tools.

Senior Lecturer in Nursing

La Trobe University · School of Nursing and Midwifery, Bundoora

  • Teaches into the Master of Nursing Practice, bringing current Nurse Practitioner and intensive care practice to postgraduate nursing education.
MAR 2020 TO PRESENT

ICU Liaison Nurse Consultant

The Northern Hospital, Northern Health

  • Leads pre discharge assessment of all ICU patients preparing for ward transfer, with ongoing post discharge support and leadership in care delivery.
  • Responds to every Medical Emergency Team (MET) call, Code Blue and REACH patient and carer escalation across the hospital, directing care during acute deterioration events.
  • Maintains comprehensive databases of MET and Code Blue responses, coordinates TPN team monitoring, and generates reports for ICU senior leadership.
  • Provides referral services across medical, nursing and allied health for high acuity patients, and serves as an active member of the Standard 8 Clinical Improvement Committee.

  • Delivers lectures, tutorials and clinical facilitation across the Diploma of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing programs, spanning foundational and advanced content.
  • Designs, conducts and evaluates Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) assessments with standardised criteria and rigorous quality assurance.
  • Coordinates clinical placement activities, liaises with clinical facilitators and Clinical Nurse Educators, and contributes to program policy, governance and curriculum integrity.
  • Nursing Trainer and Assessor for the Diploma of Nursing, April 2018 to January 2023: direct competency based delivery and assessment under the Standards for RTOs.
